Make A Tasty Breakfast Sandwich In One Pan With This Hack
I’m not on TikTok personally, but it’s not uncommon for me to encounter viral TikTok videos on Instagram, including the fried egg sandwich hack I’m sharing in this post. The concept is absolutely brilliant, and makes it quick and easy to whip up a tasty egg sandwich for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. (You could even make several in one go and freeze the leftovers!)
What makes this easy breakfast sandwich recipe even more lovable is that you make it all in one pan. Any recipe that only dirties one pan or pot is a recipe worth trying, in my opinion! Here’s how you can make one of these TikTok egg sandwiches at home.

How To Make A One-Pan Breakfast Sandwich (TikTok Fried Egg Sandwich)
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of bread
- 1-2 slices of cheese (optional)
- Cooked breakfast meat of your choice*
*Note: Be sure to cook your breakfast meat before making your sandwich, or use pre-cooked meat to make it even easier! Crispy bacon and pre-cooked bacon are both quick options, or you could heat some frozen breakfast sausage in the microwave.
Directions:
Heat a large nonstick pan over medium-low heat and spray with cooking spray (or add a pat of butter โ your call!) Beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper, then pour the eggs evenly across the surface of the greased frying pan.
Immediately place a slice of bread in the egg mixture to moisten it, then flip the bread over. Repeat with the second slice of bread.
Once the egg is just barely set (or after a minute or so), flip the whole thing over โ the eggs and bread both. You may need to use a spatula to loosen the eggs from the surface of the pan before flipping them.
After flipping, layer on your other ingredients. Place cheese, cooked meat, and any other toppings onto one of the slices of bread, and fold any egg that’s hanging over the edge of the bread onto the bread too.
Finally, assemble the sandwich by flipping one of the pieces of bread (ideally the one without any toppings) onto the other. Let the sandwich cook this way until both sides are nicely browned, then dig in!
This easy breakfast sandwich couldnโt be simpler, and I only wish Iโd known about it back when I had a house full of hungry kids! These fried egg sandwiches are tasty, customizable, and create very little mess, which makes it a great time-saver.
Thanks, TikTok, for the yummy recipe (and the viral peanut butter apple dip I shared earlier!)

What type of pan did you use to make this?

Please log in or create a free account to comment. Is that raw bacon in the photo? I realize the text states “cooked meat” but the photo might be misleading for some. Thank you for the recipe.
Please log in or create a free account to comment. This will be a great way to make these when I don’t feel like pulling out my sandwich maker. My tip is to wrap 2 slices of precooked bacon in a paper towel and zap in mw 30 seconds. If not crisp enough add 15 more seconds. Watch carefully.
